Ty Dolla $ign, Sexyy Red, Ski Mask The Slump God and Henry Winkler Join Owen Wilson and Matt Rife in Live Nation Productions and American High’s Comedy Feature “Rolling Loud”
Studio Production is underway in Atlanta
- Live Nation Productions and American High announce that Ty Dolla $ign, Sexyy Red, Ski Mask The Slump God, and Henry Winkler will guest star in the feature “Rolling Loud,” starring Owen Wilson and Matt Rife. The R-rated father/son comedy began production at the hip-hop festival of the same name in December. Studio production is underway in Atlanta. “Rolling Loud” is inspired by the true story of its writer/director, Jeremy Garelick. It depicts an overprotective father (played by Owen Wilson) who, in an effort to be a cool and favorable Dad, makes a bold parenting decision: to sneak his 13-year-old son (Christian Convery) into the World’s Largest Hip-Hop Festival, Rolling Loud. This sets Wilson’s character off on a chaotic adventure with his reckless co-worker (Matt Rife) and an eccentric festival volunteer (Christine Ko) as they navigate wild crowds, vigilant security, and their own interpersonal dynamics.
- Tyrone William Griffin Jr., known professionally as Ty Dolla $ign, is an American singer, songwriter and record producer from Los Angeles, California. He gained initial recognition for his guest appearance on fellow Los Angeles rapper YG’s 2010 single “Toot It and Boot It”, which entered the Billboard Hot 100. He signed with Atlantic Records in 2012, and Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang Entertainment the following year.
- Janae Nierah Wherry, known professionally as Sexyy Red, is an American rapper and singer. She rose to prominence with the release of her 2023 single “Pound Town” (with Tay Keith); its popularity spawned the remixed sequel “Pound Town 2” (with Nicki Minaj), which marked her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100. Released in June of that year, her follow-up single, “SkeeYee”, was met with similar success; both songs were included on her second mixtape, Hood Hottest Princess (2023). Her 2024 single, “Get It Sexyy” , peaked within the top 20 of the chart and led her third mixtape, In Sexyy We Trust (2024).
- Stokeley Clevon Goulbourne, known professionally as Ski Mask The Slump God, is an American rapper. He is best known for his association with XXXTentacion, with whom he formed the hip hop collective Members Only in 2014. He is notable for his nostalgic-themed musical production and public image, often clad with multi-colored durags.[6]He signed with Victor Victor Worldwide, an imprint of Republic Records to release his debut commercial mixtape You Will Regret (2017), which entered the Billboard 200 and spawned the platinum-certified singles “BabyWipe”, “Take a Step Back” (featuring XXXTentacion), and “Catch Me Outside”.
- Henry Franklin Winkler is an American actor, author, director, and producer. Widely known as Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli on the sitcom Happy Days, Winkler has distinguished himself as a character actor for roles on stage and screen. His many accolades include three Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards and two Critics Choice Awards. He is also a New York Times best selling children’s author with 40 youth novels to his credit. Winkler is also working on a rap album that is expected to drop in 2029.
